Tuscany is excellent for all types of outdoor sports. The fresh Tuscan air and its harmonious green hills give you a great energy for any open air activity: here there are mountain bikes at your disposal, the perfect mean to explore this wonderful area; we can suggest you trekking itineraries, you can use the synthetic grass tennis court or go to the nearby equestrian center for horse back riding.

Unforgettable activity: take part in a helicopter excursion. Fly over Tuscany... an experience that no word can describe.  Also, we organize for our guests off road driving excursions in quads which is another unique experience.

Golfers may enjoy an 18 hole golf court at about 10km at CASTELFALFI GOLF CLUB  (18 hole green). In addition, at about 50 minutes from the Resort there is the renowned MONTECATINI GOLF CLUB (18 hole golf). For those who stay in Pratello Country Resort both clubs offer a 10% discount on all greens.

Not far from our Resort there are the Casciana thermal baths where one can enjoy a relaxing message, various beauty treatments, spa, sauna and Turkish bath: Pratello Country Resort customers can get discounts on various kind of treatments.

NATURALISTIC ROUTES
For nature lovers and for nature photographers will be possible (with a minimum notice period for the organization), some tours at the observation points and during the favourite moments from wildlife.
Subjects will be especially deers, fallow deers, hares, foxes and all the great variety of species that live free in our Estate. The excursions will be made on foot or on board of our jeep car.
Depending on requirements, we can arrange personalized programs to meet the different needs of our guests.

During your stay, you can take a tour to one or more of the many farmhouses, wineries, oil mills, cheese factories of the area. We would be happy to organize a tour where our guests may taste the fabulous Tuscan wines, olive oil, cheeses and salamis. We can show you the way also to some of the best known wineries of Tuscany, even to Montalcino, Bolgheri or the Chianti area.

The most famous Italian clothing brands can be found even at bargain prices at some shopping centers here in Tuscany. By the seaside, in the town Forte Dei Marmi you can shop in stores with the most famous brands like Prada, Dolce e Gabbana, Gucci, etc. Near Florence there is also a big outlet called “The Mall” that offers international name brands at lower prices.

In every city and town of Tuscany you can find a street market once a week. In Pisa: on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, in Pontedera on Friday mornings, in Casciana Terme on Thursday mornings, in Lucca:  on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. In Peccioli: on Tuesday mornings.

For Flyers
We offer our guests the exceptional possibility of helicopter excursions. At Pratello Country Resort we have a private airport with a 1000 meter long runway. One can easily reach us by airplane or by helicopter landing at our exclusive airport. We provide a shuttle service to and from the Villa and a hanger where pilots can keep their planes for a long or short period.
